A long story of success


1949 | FOUNDATION

Gauderndorf in the old days: Alfred Dachsberger sen. founds the original form of our company, a farm and slaughter cattle trade.

 

1954 | EXPANSION

The history of our growth begins here – with the first expansion to include the so-called livestock trade. About 5 new employees are hired for this.

 

1957 | TRADE LICENSE

But now: We officially operate a butcher's trade, with the corresponding additional trade license. The simultaneous foundation of a commercial agency expands our sales possibilities.

 

1970 | EXPANSION

From the 1970s onwards, we grow continuously. In several ambitious company expansions, we build new work and cold storage halls and take on around 20 new employees.

1980 | FOUNDATION limited liability company

Our company now becomes a limited liability company – a family business with the partners Alfred Dachsberger sen., Alfred Dachsberger and Friedrich Dachsberger. Our team reaches a size of about 60 persons at this time.

 

1983 | TAKEOVER SPINDLER

We take over the traditional butcher's shop Spindler in Maissau, thus ensuring its continuity even after the retirement of its operator. In the same year our general partnership is founded and our sausage production starts. At that time, our team consists of about 70 employees.

 

1994 | EU APPROVAL

Our company, our headquarters in Gauderndorf, receives the EU approval as a slaughter and meat cutting company. Our team grows by another 10 employees to about 80 people.

 

1995 | EXTENSION

We expand our deep-freeze capacity by a whole 2,000 tons this year.

 

1997 | EXPANSION

We grow and are increasingly recognized internationally. We expand our production and storage facilities again – and our export activity increases to about 20%. Our team grows to about 90 employees during this time.

 

1999 | 50TH ANNIVERSARY

At the time of our 50th anniversary, our company already has about 120 employees. About 60% of our products are exported.

 

2005 | SB-PACKAGES

New production beyond meat: Since this year, we also produce our packaging for the retail trade in our own factory.

2006 | EXPANSION

We are getting bigger again: New annex, additional office and social rooms. We also expand our pig slaughter line this year.

 

2007 | NEW CUTTING LINE

The time has come: We put our new cutting line for the fine cutting of pork into operation.

 

2015-2016 | NEW PRODUCTION FACILITIES

More space, more animal welfare: during this period we build a new barn, an unloading zone and new production rooms.

 

2021 | HÜNDLER BECOMES DACHSBERGER

The traditional butchery Hündler in Sitzendorf becomes part of our Dachsberger family in November 2021.

2023 | OUR ONLINE PRESENCE Gets EXTENDED

Our online presence becomes international and regional!
